a leet practice with ScatterSky : skyBrightness ,ambientScale , sunScale ,fogScale , LevelInfo : clearCanvasColor , fog settings and a volumetric fog w/ settings and whatever the postFx are right at the moment . It took me sooo long to find out what the anogramette means THANK GOD FOR THE INTERNET ! and as it would turn out , the meaning is so darn funny that it was actually almost worth the wait . It might be inappropriate , but , its my first chance to use it since I found out . 🖖

No idea what you are referring to, with Uebergame being with NPC and spawn stuff, it is just bots and they use this behavior tree thing, btw I planned a racing gamemode, it is disabled, well the gamemode scripts do not exist yet, but I made a racetrack map for it, but never got around making the script, but seems like the resource from the game development book is exactly what I would have needed.

Do you mean how my bots turn into players in the player score GUI? Yes that was important to have, I used a different class in code for those and some people wanted to delete that feature from Torque3D because they thought it was deprecated, but it is essential, maybe they did delete it now, even though I tried to stop them, I would have to look into it again to figure it out, but the feature was already in Torque3D, just needed a bit more work.

Btw sea level needs to be higher in that level, most of the sand layers need to be covered.

I was thinking more along the lines that the Bots were like Non-Player-Characters , as I imagine , that one might find in an RPG which could make use of all of the AI abilities and functionalities . I am just about to look into executing your scripts in 4.01 . and stuff like that ! that cheetah car is a wheeled vehicle I just executed the server file (either the cs or the tscript I made from it) I'd fixed the path to the shape to whatever it is now , the paths for the tires models hadn't been edited yet , and ive added some forest items with their nifty 'poles enhanced' imposters and raised the sea level lord as you have commanded Sir 😔 . I'll hit a pic when the cars are readied 👍 . have good day sir

Weird coincidence, i was just talking to a friend yesterday that im gonna bring back the racing island.

Also gonna reuse the other maps too once i get to it.

 

Looks pretty good there, bet its gonna be fun.

You could add spectators, bonus points for running them over(like bonus missions in gta2).

one of the models Code_Man had posted a link to . the tank1 . it has the hubs , collision shape , detail nodes , bounds and a wheel(w/ collision shape , detail nodes) is waiting in the blend file . only thing left is wheeledVehicleData , wheeledVehicleTire , wheeledvehicleSpring datablocks and server file stuff . thanks for the link Code_Man , I see you guys are pretty active over there and a bit of a buzz over the CnC stuff . KEWL STUFF !

If you take the ones from my halloween relese they have colvols and mounts and wheel positions predefined pretty good.

The datablocks are not all that useful, except for the ranger which has 3 springs and 3 tires that all work.

Its nice someone finally using those, im amazide nobody over at that at or otherwise took advantage of those so far.

I just painted my version of the racing island just earlier this moring, its very barebones but useful, i will try to make it interesting on my end.

Also if im not mistaken the halloween demo has a whole lot of vehicle models, but most are not rigged nor scaled and forgot about skins.

I changed to some of the 1k ones i got, they look messed up for some reason, others work fine, i suspect it might be something to do with the diffuse map scale and stuff.

Your terrain looks very sharp, i know its not so easy to get that kind of look going.
