I havent figured out whether I can block the light like in TGE the structure would be dark inside and youd need to add lights . any ? thx u That'd be a zone without a portal exposing sunlight Quote
fLUnKnhaXYU Posted May 4 Author Posted May 4 So , this is due to the BSP boogie I should think ? I have noticed a map to dif in the tools folder , can DIF format be used in 4.03 ? after all this is like the only structure in this level . back at reality now , the moral is use zones and portals design in place of BSP calculated structure ? dang , thats just sweeeeeeet . and thank you sooo much Azaezel *YOUR ARE KIND AS WELL AS MIGHTY* Quote

fLUnKnhaXYU Posted May 14 Author Posted May 14 Aye , my endeavor to encounter proper dungeon nightmares , unfortunately for human kind , continues to be way too prosperous . 3 more sketchfab finds in a wink .. the bat is animated and I think its set up for/with cinema 4d and needed a little prep for torque3d . they look great and currently , as in oh yea soon I shall prepare the the other images for the full material (with Materialize at such time , I would add) they all only have a diffuse color . fLUnKnhaXYU Posted May 17 Author Posted May 17 level 1 to , like , maybe , oh , lets say , 4 , crawler scene . this became a fun character showpiece of fun sweet freebies nearly all of the characters are from sketchfab . I migrated toward the gltf's . the statics are just a breeze to import and export but the animated can be a little testy as some may have unapplied scaling , parenting issues involving scaling , etc . good ol blender 2.83 LTS did the job even on files created with 3.xx Im not good enough to just whiz right through it but keeping the typical torque3d structure in mind and keeping the graph editor handy in blender , works things out eventually . oh yea this snake (see it back there?) is animated . just gorgeous ! fLUnKnhaXYU Posted June 23 Author Posted June 23 thought you would appreciate a cuter close-up of my selection of models and mention that for 1 month Ive been focused upon weight painting the elf to an established bvh animated armature . the cape is 2 separate pieces the hair is separate and well its been sorta fussy , for me I mean . anyway theyre so cute I know you'd love it . and speaking of cute just take a closely look at all these big bugs . So OK , have a lovely , hope every ones well . U Quote

fLUnKnhaXYU Posted July 2 Author Posted July 2 for those , like myself , who might find themselves apprehensive concerning the three wheel configuration of this object , HAVE CHEER ! this model , using three hub nodes , works well . the front being 0 (driver) 1 (passenger) 2 (single rear) the typical config yes ?. thx have a nice ol' dizzy . fLUnKnhaXYU Posted July 4 Author Posted July 4 (edited) Yea , So , shes a rolling . and here are a couple of tests I came up with . car eye node - switch to player eye for free-look while testing my nifty res-ed up collision shape . Just look at the pretty monitors . btw some bose and nifty upholstery in the rear . just sayin' take on the slightly beefier ol' cheetah . went well but.. my wheels became locked onto the cheetah a couple of whacks , So , I'm contemplating up-ing the resolution on the cube shape collision shapes currently "on" the wheel shape . will check back back when done . well , hope somebody enjoyed that , and , wish you all a great day . fLUnKnhaXYU Posted September 4 Author Posted September 4 HERE HE IS ! one of the JAPONESE ! he sports a rather nifty JapanEyes MoCap animation (needs a little further adjusting) Im not sure how the stretching (more noticeable in the arm/sleeve )will be most effectively addressed but maybe it shall be sufficient for a hoot . thank you . have a good day . fLUnKnhaXYU Posted September 7 Author Posted September 7 (edited) well , back on the subject of This guys weight paint issues i was a havin at . I was starting to get quite upset at the problem that the shawl was giving me as it is actually 2 parts (exterior and liner) and just wouldnt parent well , and actually still wont well ok , see ya have a nidey old one .. NAW , just jivin' , but this much has been acheeeeeved! by a little reshaping in edit mode , a little transfer weights in weight paint mode as i had separated the shawl from the model , and then separated the inner and outer parts , did the slight resizing stuff it needed , reparented the outer , with just the deform option (i think i had done a little weight painting that i was satisfied with and this let me keep it without re-weighting it , i guess you could say ) transfered the weights to the inner , rejoimed the separated parts . much better . btw this is Blender 2.83 LTS . and , of course , in TORQUE 3D 4.01 !!! thank you , have a good'n Edited September 7 by fLUnKnhaXYU Quote
fLUnKnhaXYU Posted September 13 Author Posted September 13 I'm sorry , the scale of the Scout Car was all quite wrong . it stance still is too high but that's because of the spring settings at the moment they're a bit too long and/or strong , certainly not a prob'm , it drives pretty good though and looks a little more beefed-up jacked up like that separate front and rear springs let you easily do hot-rod tricks like that set up front and rear stiffness , you know fun stuff can you see this scout car as a drifter , huh , can ya ?. anyhow I just had to remedy that silly looking little scale thing. and so im a couple of attributes behind . i think that this covers 'em . special appreciation to Sketchfab ! for most of these models for some time now . fLUnKnhaXYU Posted September 26 Author Posted September 26 So , who would've noticed that the mighty oak was really small this is scaled up 4x and looks more like an oak now , and the greenish color was been desatched for that glowy real bark lookin tree . Amother thing I have included in the photograph is an Elf with an ambient animation comprised of several Hahne CMU BVH's yeahhhhh , you can see him out running up the hill behind Forgeguy , So , yea , all was done using Blender 2.83 LTS for little old lady's and Gimp 2.10.20 BVHacker 1.9.0.1b Materialize 1.78 Notepad plusplus . You know all the good stuff .
