Can you pull terrain texture paints out in masks?

I am trying to upgrade an old TGE game to Unity and wanted to keep it as accurate as possible, in that quest I have been struggling to pull the terrain out in a usable way.

I have been able to pull out the height map and that works fine, but I am struggling trying to figure out a way to get the terrain texture paints out. I want to be able to pull out each material out into its own grayscale mask. so I can pack the texture and have it look super close to how we had it on TGE.

I have been trying to dig though the documentation but I have not found anything really about how to pull these things out. I am half about to just paint the masks by hand just I really would like to have them 1:1 on the principle of preservation.
